Do your safety glasses meet the ANSI Z87.1-2003 Standards?
Yes. It is stated in the product information for each product.

What are your safety glasses made of?

Um…plastic? More specifically? Most of our safety glasses are made of polycarbonate. Polycarbonate is a strong plastic that resists shattering, scratching, and blocks 99.9% of UVA and UVB rays.

Do you offer prescription safety glasses?

No we don’t, but we know someone who does. Click here to visit their site.

What is a temple tip?

It’s the upper most tip of a Mayan structure. Kidding. It’s the very end of the glasses that loop around your ear. Spatula temples look just like regular glasses. A bayonet temple does not loop around the ears, they are commonly used in designer sunglasses.

What is a brow guard?

Besides being a tiny man that grooms your eyebrows, it’s most commonly a piece of rubber, foam, or plastic that makes your glasses rest comfortably around the eyebrow area. They can also stop projectile from entering through a gap in the top of your safety glasses.

What is a nose bridge and nose pads?

(Insert stupid joke about some guy with huge nose here). A nose pad is either plastic or rubber that rests on your nose to take the weight of the safety glasses off of your face. A nose bridge is the piece of plastic or metal that connects the two lenses together.

Is my info secure when I order?
Of course it is. Who do you think we are? Pirates? We use a secure server to process your order and information. If someone in pink high heels goes on a shopping spree pretending they’re you, it’s not because of us.

Is it safe to enter my credit card information?

Can I use a debit or check card?

Sure you can. Just select VISA as the payment option while ordering.

Why did my authorization fail?

I don’t know. You might want to try checking your credit card number again.

Can I change my order?

I hope you’re not having cold feet. Don’t worry, you can always ADD or subtract items from your order as long as it has not been shipped yet. If you are changing or canceling an order, do it as soon as possible by notifying us at 608-838-3005.

How long does this stuff take to get to me?
Well, that depends on where you live. All orders are processed as quickly as possible, and you will be notified when we ship your items. Please note that the availability of a product only represents how long it will take before we’re able get the product from our distributors to ship it out. You’re shipping time goes into effect when we ship the product, and not when you place the order.

How much does shipping cost?

Shipping calculations are based on weight and zip code destination of the package. Safety Glasses Inc. does NOT add mark ups to shipping charges, even though we have thought about it.

Do I get a tracking number?

Yes. Your tracking information will be emailed to you when we ship your order. Then you can follow your package on its awesome journey.

Where in the heck is my stuff?

Patience. If we have shipped it, it is out of our hands and you can follow your package through the tracking number you’ve been provided. If the tracking information says its delivered, contact the carrier.

Will you ship to a military APO?

Anything for the government. While filling out your shipping address, just input APO or FPO in the city line and AP or AE in the state line. It’s that easy. Please note that military orders can sometimes take longer to receive.

Hey, will you ship to Canada and overseas?

What the heck, why not? Just note that we are not responsible for any additional shipping charges that may arise as a result of shipping out of the United States.
